Presenter Karol Klonowsky
Karol’s presentation on the Dendrobiums of New Guinea focuses on the amazing diversity of the second-largest genus on earth’s largest tropical island. Variations in natural ranges, such as coastal lowlands to high mountain elevations, and ample sun and rainfall make for a tremendous variation in orchid habitat. Over half the Dendrobium genus is represented here, at the crossroad of Asia and Australia/Oceania.
